Peter Wilhelm has established the Peter Wilhelm Art Center with the aim in view to create a meeting point for all the arts to offer the possibility of interactive cultural experiences to young artists and the public, alive to and particular about the arts.

In the founder’s conception the creation of culture is inseparable from the organization of culture. The patronage of arts is at is most efficient when, at the same time, the ‘consumers’ of the arts, the public is also helped to meet the works of art and the artists. It is this interaction which ensures for the arts to be an organic part of culture.

The Peter Wilhelm Art Center furthers the strengthening of Hungary’s image among the nations through her creative artists and modern cultural values. To achieve this goal it is necessary — over and above international cultural relations and the active support of arts — to also address the new generation which has grown up in the information society. In addition to showing art Peter Wilhelm wishes to prompt his public and friends to have a creative, living dialogue.
